But who he was now.. was a different person. A monster who had even sent somebody else to try and assassinate him once. Talk about betrayal.
Now, Katsura knows Hiro isn't going to go batshit crazy and be set on destroying the world so it can feel the same pain his friend felt, but in this place, he knows friends can change. He knows people— they can grow distant even if they are physically still here.
Hiro, though. Katsura had invested so much trust and like for the little guy— he probably didn't appreciate him verbally as much as he should. He feels bad for not communicating with them, but what was he to do? He felt guilt for what had happened. He felt embarrassed for hardly getting anywhere through their hard work and effort.
