There is no need to worry, Ryuko-dono. Nobody is going kamikaze and nobody is going to Mosley-san's office either.
[ Somehow, he knew that Ryuko was that type of person who was headstrong and leader of her own self. Her response isn't surprising to him in the least. How does, however, enjoy her concern.
Running away all of his life has only put him into endless circumstances of loneliness. If Tellus means anything to him, it's the people here. If there is anything he will miss when he goes home, it's the people here; people like Ryuko. It is the people that he has bonded so many close friendships with when he's never really felt like he fit in properly his entire life until he became leader of the Jouishishi rebellion and formed followers home.
Followers are different than friends though. Friends like Gintoki, Sakamoto and Takasugi before he went so bitter against the world. They all have special places in his large heart, and he feels like he can now fill up all of those empty spaces with more people. ]

[ CERES is more than just strong, they're capable of psychological torture of the worst kind, something that Athena asked Ryuko to keep quiet about. Some would probably find death preferable. ]

Found a makeshift lab, not sure how long ago it was abandoned. Also learned some information from a friend of mine that might tie all of it together. You?
[ This is all very interesting. A makeshift lab? Were there possibly other people who were here first and served as CERES' little torment devices before them long ago? These elemental beings claiming them as 'theirs'— were their bodies tampered with before in this lab? Their data— was or corrupted into something before CERES? Were they sold to CERES from another person or thing? Was it an old lab of CERES and they were performing tests on Maris and his crew? Maybe it just used to be a fast food restaurant.

[ Thankfully enough, the honeymoon phase is over for their reunion, and that might be another reason why Katsura has been so quiet lately.
