Found a makeshift lab, not sure how long ago it was abandoned. Also learned some information from a friend of mine that might tie all of it together. You?
[ This is all very interesting. A makeshift lab? Were there possibly other people who were here first and served as CERES' little torment devices before them long ago? These elemental beings claiming them as 'theirs'— were their bodies tampered with before in this lab? Their data— was or corrupted into something before CERES? Were they sold to CERES from another person or thing? Was it an old lab of CERES and they were performing tests on Maris and his crew? Maybe it just used to be a fast food restaurant.
Instantly, his theories are running rapid in his mind, so it gives him awhile to respond before he replies: ]
I'm sorry, Hiro-dono. This was the only interesting thing I discovered when I was out in the jungle.
I hope I did not disappoint. My kayak sunk, and some helpful people brought me to shore. We had a typical beach episode special, only there was a giant ocean monster.
I suppose that is interesting? There is an ocean with life in it.
See that would have been something to talk about sooner.
Where'd you even get a kayak...? Never mind, what other kind of life was in the ocean? Besides the giant ocean monster...? What'd the monster look like?
[ Oh. REALLY important, huh? ] It had sharp teeth and tentacles as if it were more suited for an 18+ time slot. It wasn't friendly at all, but we put it to rest.
Nope. We were in the mountains so we saw griffins instead. They weren't exactly happy to see us though. I guess I wanted to know if all of the monsters in all parts of Tellus attacked unprovoked. We know the ones in the jungle did, but we found something weird on the griffins and somebody told me about something else that might be the cause of it.
Maybe. We were told that the griffins used to belong to Caeli but they were too busy trying to kill us when we were on the mountain. If CERES has a hand in it, it wouldn't surprise me that much.
If the griffins used to be his and aren't anymore, maybe it's because he couldn't. It's something to look into though. Just...I wanted you to know and keep that in mind. [He's sharing, Zura. That's how much he likes you.]
[...well that's nice, Katsura. He's actually not sure what to say for a minute but in the end he sort of grins.]
Likewise, dude. I don't trust just anybody with this sort of classified info. [It's also why he's including Katsura in his list of people for the cipher he and Dipper are creating, but y'know.] Gotta stick together and everything. We'll touch base again soon, okay? I've got some stuff I need to take care of but...CereVice is usually on me.
[ How nice. He feels kind of awkward. How can he end this on some good, youthful note? Give him a moment just staring into the camera for awhile (somehow they seemed to have switch halfway through, aaaaaand: ]
Peaaaaaace out. [ There he is giving the two finger peace sign and signing off. That's what young people like Hiro do, right? ]

.. Did you find something on your own, Hiro-dono?

I don't even get how you people can watch soap operas. They're really boring.

Form my observation, I did not see anything strange on it, but I also didn't thoroughly examine it.

Thank you, Hiro-dono. I will keep this with the rest of the information I gathered, and I will also report the interesting things I find to you too.
I've very much enjoyed our discussions. You're more than just a comrade to me now. You're a friend.
[ Look at that. ]
