That returned quip aside, Minato wastes little time in turning around as he's holding a lot of fragile goods.] Where should I put these?
[ He pulls back to allow Minato some more room before pointing to the floor. ]
Shoes there, please. Ah, well. The DVDs can go in the living room— please don't let anybody know you've brought them here. [ He says, beginning to wheel towards the kitchen. ]
Bring the meal in here. [ Although he technically could stand at this rate, being recently equipped with an artificial leg, he didn't ever want to overexert himself and was sticking to basic exercises for now and when he needed to do them. ]
Minato-san, have you any news for me? [ about anything, really. ]
Sure. [Minato sets everything down carefully before pulling off his shoes and setting them aside neatly, discreetly placing the DVDs between a collection of other DVDs (Surely no one would notice then?) before heading over to the kitchen and putting down the bowl of soba on the dining table.]
I don't have any news, but it seems like the noises from the Residential District have become even louder than before...I'm a bit concerned about it.
[ Oh, yummy. He'll just put himself right up against this table and fold his hands slightly as if he were saying grace. Completely the opposite thing you think you'd ever see a criminal do. ]
Anything different of this place is suspicious. And it's ever changing, so there is no rest for any of us.

We live in fear here, and they profit from it. That is just how it is, I have come to realize.
[Katsura's manner is certainly interesting and more befitting of a nobleman of his time than the terrorist he is here, but Minato knows better than to judge by first impressions.
He doesn't say anything immediately, eyes fixated on Katsura. When he does say something his tone is without judgment and merely inquisitive.]
That's just how it is...so you've been involved with CERES recently? [It's not hard for Minato to put the pieces together. No one might have told him about Katsura's shadier activities, but he remembers the conversation they had way back, and this 'accident' had to be anything but.]
I infiltrated the Research Lab, again, with the company of others. Our attempt was nothing but fruitless, and the sacrifice was great. We did obtain an implant; one that is suited for our eyes with a transmitter, but it is a puzzling equipment that we're not sure how to pry apart.
My ultimate goal was to destroy the base where all of our information is carried to and fed to them, but.. we were not match for them.
[ He places the chopsticks he is using neatly on the bowl, his voice sounding crestfallen. ]
Do you ever have a change of heart? [ An odd question, but Katsura is more than just a little bit familiar with this. His thoughts, being isolated at home lately has been getting him to think.
Don't get too excited. This merely means he wants to go about tearing this place up by a different means and not giving up entirely. ]
[It's clear from the way Katsura describes his exploits that he got his leg hurt during that raid, and that it's not the only reason why he's disappointed. Minato's been quiet while listening to him, eyes alert and his manner attentive until the question's asked, and then he hesitates to respond because he's known just as many setbacks- such a question is never easy to answer.]
A friend of mine once said that you should find a different path if you've lost sight of your goal. [His tone's decisive, but Minato stares at the other quietly as if he's not convinced that Katsura's deciding to throw in the towel- after all that same friend had chosen new goal similar to her lost one and it was only the object that changed.] ...Has your goal changed, Katsura-san?
Ah, sorry. [Minato isn't all that taken aback by the outburst, but he knows it's better to let Katsura have his little victories and he raises his hands as if he's surrendering.]
That's the same thing, Katsura-san. [That's definitely a frown he's sporting- sometimes Minato is just so done with his friend's twisted sense of logic.]
How did you go about doing these things previously?

While I respect him greatly, I'm not sure if I agree with him. Pathways without guidance often turn chaotic. Rules must be set.

Even if you say rules have to be set that doesn't mean people don't have something they want. What do you want for the people you lead then, Katsura-san?
He is.. a very precious friend of mine. We have been through it all together. [ It was him that talked him out of dying with honor. Sometimes he wonders if he would still be alive if it wasn't for him.
Katsura shifts, thinking. Well, he's a bit close-minded; he wants them all to think like him, as narcissistic as it is. But ultimately: ]
I wanted the ones that I have helped here to be heroes. But now.. I think I just want them all to be happy instead.
[ This place is miserable. ]
That is where my mind has changed. I am fine with us all dying here, now.. as long as we die together. [ People have proven how close and caring they are of him. His biggest fear was dying alone, but here.. he knows that is impossible. ]
But if we come out victorious— together— that is fine too.
So you want to fight with everyone else... [That he'd say isn't exactly a bad thing, but Katsura didn't seem too happy about it which was curious to him.]
[ At that question, Zura has to think for a moment. Usually he plans ahead, but as of late, he's been going into things haphazardly, or isn't sure of what action to take right away.
The answer to this question isn't an exception. He's not sure, and that's fine. He isn't used to is being fine, but he's gradually being accepting of it in such an odd place he's in. ]
That's what we are going to have to figure out as one entity.
Yeah. Even if we fail, we'll at least have done our best. [It hits kind of hard though thinking about the kind of odds they're up against, and Minato turns to look for a distraction- a furry one in fact.]
