[ Embarrassing. But when Sakamoto leaves to get him the items, Katsura tries to remember exactly what happened. His brain is disoriented ( more than usual ) but he is remembering everything. His body aches, as does his head, and he's trying really hard to steady his breathing.
When Sakamoto returns, he will probably see Katsura concentrating hard on the comforter he's lying in, his typical sharp posture slouched. His face is pale and his eyes look empty.
Finally, like he snaps back to reality, he grimaces and scrunches up his face. ]
[ Katsura takes the water once it is offered to him and slowly begins to sip on it. He blinks his eyes rapidly at Sakamoto-- look at those lashes flutter-- then shuts one eye, then the other. ]
[Something cold seeps into his heart, a feeling of dread. This kind of paranoia hasn't plagued him in decades, but at the very least, his friend is still alive and kicking.
What can he do?]
Only one?
[Like Takasugi? Has Zura lost his vision too? Sakamoto knows that the two are not one and the same, but he doesn't want Zura to be hurt any more than he already has been.]
We have to get you to a doctor! Oi. Do you think you can make the trip?
[Sakamoto gets to his feet immediately. A bullet wound? There are things that he should do, things that he knows he should do, but he feels so goddamn angry.
He rushes to Katsura's aid, looping an arm around him immediately.]
[ Katsura accepts this aid-- you could carry him bridal style if you wanted and he would absolutely love it, Sakamoto. He leans his weight into his friend as they go along. Man. The world was spinning again. ]
Sakamoto. We found a girl. She said some things that I think you should know.
She made it obvious that we shouldn't trust this corporation, and that-- [ man, he's really feeling dizzy and unstable. Whatever electric shock CERES sent through their optical nerves to their brain really did a number on him.
Katsura is coughing slightly, clinging to Sakamoto as much as he can before he goes unconscious, legs giving out from under him. Hopefully Sakamoto catches him and can get him to the hospital— which was flooded with other people— soon enough. ]
[As soon as Zura's eyes fall shut, Sakamoto yells:]
ZURA! OI, ZURA!
[Nothing, he hears nothing.
Sakamoto can still hear breathing, so Zura isn't dead as of yet. He quickens his pace, practically running in the direction of the hospital. Since his friend can't see him, the worry begins to really show on his face- He's lost one too many friends from back then, because he wasn't fast enough, wasn't strong enough.

[ Katsura gently slips out of the bed and stands to his feet. ]
I have a bullet wound that could get an infection if we don't go.
[ look at him, he's beginning to make an exit. He seems to be walking fine, but is a little staggering like he is sea sick.
What did that mysterious lady say? CERES is always watching? ]

C'mon.
We'll get you out of here.

No jokes.]

[He actually sounds serious, before:]
That I'm fine as hell?
[WHY. WHY WOULD ANYONE SAY ANYTHING LIKE THAT]

Because he couldn't do anything at all.
Move forward, Tatsuma. Move forward.]
